A REALLY impressive interactive site to help help you connect to, interact with, and learn more about Edgar Allan Poe, the person: "KNOWING POE"
(Note: You will need to install "Plugins" to view some of the videos/interactive content. Proceed with caution, after checking with a parent/guardian before downloading anything to your computer.)

Musical Interpretations of Edgar Allan Poe:
  • Alan Parson's Project, "A Dream Within a Dream"
  • Erick Wolfson Music to "POE, the musical". At THIS WEBSITE, you can listen to samples of songs from the soundtrack and/or purchase the full songs via I-tunes.
  • "Fun Fact": The first play Mrs. Tolin was ever involved in was through her church, in the 7th or 8th grade. The play was titled, "Snoopy" and it was a musical. (Other than the great friends I made and the love for musicals and theater that developed, one of the only things I remember from that play was a song titled, "Edgar Allan Poe".)
    • Click HERE to read the lyrics to the song (It may help you remember details about his life!)
    • Click HERE to watch the Peanuts cartoon(same as below) aligned with "A Snoopy Musical", a play that Mrs. Tolin was in when she was your age (or a little younger)!
      • Fast-forward to 12:05 for the scene where they sing the "Edgar.Allan.Poe" song. Enjoy! (Be careful---it gets stuck in your head easily!)
